Circular painting of the Virgin in a red dress, blue mantle and a veil, halo above, holding the Infant Jesus, who stands on a platform, one foot on a closed book, embracing the child St John, who kneels before him, held by a haloed angel. The angel on the left of the painting holds an open book of music. Behind them is a landscape with rocks and trees, and in the middle distance, buildings with a tower.
