Description
Wool tapestry cushion cover depicting Susanna, naked except for a diaphanous stole, diadem and necklace, being unpleasantly surprised at her bath by the two elders who had been spying on her. They are giving her an ultimatum to submit to their advances or suffer their accusations against her. One of a set of six tapestries, 47.9 to 47.14. Part of the Burrell Collection.
