Description
Tapestry panel for a cushion cover depicting the biblical story of the sacrifice of Isaac. In the central panel, Abraham, with knife raised, is ready to kill his son, but an angel appears and tells him to kill a lamb instead. There are hunting scenes on the border panel. Part of the Burrell Collection.
