Description
Wool tapestry fragment depicting a physician and a woman. It shows a man and woman, the man apparently a physician, clutching a scroll in one hand and holding aloft a round-bottomed flask. The woman, arms raised in apprehension at his prognosis, is either the patient or patient’s representative. Part of the Burrell Collection.
