Wool tapestry depicting a throng of 18 figures. Life-size figures wearing exotic headgear crowd this narrow strip of tapestry, overlapping in four tiers to decorative effect.The principal figure who stands in the centre foreground holds symbols of office: a sceptre, a crown and a sheathed sword. Part of the Burrell Collection.
