On the left hand, the Trinity watch over Adam and Eve in a rose-filled Eden, accompanied by Duty, Power, Benevolence and Wisdom. The right hand shows Christ preparing to descend to earth. In the foreground are the prophet Jeremias and the apostle Peter. Part of the Burrell Collection.
