Description
Wool and silk tapestry fragments depicting scenes from the Seven Sacraments: Communion, and Melchizedek offering bread and wine to Abraham. The group of worshippers includes the laity, the clergy, and the military, kneeling before a haloed figure to receive communion. The haloed saint may be John the Evangelist. Part of the Burrell Collection.
