Description
Tapestry fragment depicting a papal mass and the interior of a church. The Holy Spirit, embodied by a dove, is at the altar. Present are church clergymen and the Virgin and Child flanked by Saints Peter and Paul as decorative sculptures. There are angels in the background. Part of the Burrell Collection.
