Description
Wool and silk tapestry depicting 'Faith' from the tapestry series called the 'Honours'. it shows a slightly off-centre pyramidal arrangement with cherubic angels drawing back massive curtains to reveal an enthroned FIDES (Faith) holding Moses’ tablets of law, a burning candle and a building representing the Church. Part of the Burrell Collection.
