Description
Wool tapestry fragment of the Virgin and Child with a donor. The donor is luxuriantly clad in an ermine-lined robe and kneels before the Virgin and Child, offering them his heart. There are rolling hills and a fortified city in the background. Part of the Burrell Collection.
