Description
Wool and silk tapestry fragment showing the top halves of a shepherd and shepherdess against a mille fleurs background. The man holds a shepherd’s crook, with a bird behind him, and the lady a shepherdess’s conical scoop or houlette in her right hand and a falcon on her left. Part of the Burrell Collection.
