Description
Wool and silk tapestry fragment showing three ranks of male and female figures in courtly dress. This is a modern piece, designed to latch onto the lower edges of the two fragments 46.154 and 46.155, extending the composition dramatically and providing the 16th-century figures with waists and legs and, below them, two more ranks of similarly attired companions. Part of the Burrell Collection.
