Description
Wool tapestry depicting animals, a fountain, flowers and foliage. In the foreground a lion and phoenix face each other across a gigantic and centrally placed thistle bush. Above them, a doe and badger graze beside a whittled fence, while a dove sits beside an elaborate gateway. Part of the Burrell Collection.
