Description
The Luttrell Table Carpet, a wool and silk tapestry. Intended to be used flat, it lay on top of a table, with its four broad borders hanging down over the table’s edge. The central coat of arms is that of Sir Andrew Luttrell of Dunster, conjoined with those of his wife, Margaret, daughter of Sir Thomas Wyndham of Felbrigg in Norfolk. Part of the Burrell Collection.
