Description
Tapestry depicting the Sibylla Europa, from a set of six Sibyls (46.134 to 45.139) from the series 'Fountains with Sibyls and Prophets'. In this first fragment, Sibylla Europa holds an unsheathed sword, indicating her prophesy of the Massacre of the Innocents. Part of the Burrell Collection.
